Only this morning I learned to know the work by the Dutch Photographer Pieter Henket (1979). He moved to New York in 1998. He started doing a course on cinematography, earned some money delivering pizzas, and started to assist the film director Joel Schumacher. This created for him the opportunity to meet and take pictures of all kinds of people from the industry. He did this very well. His pictures have been published in quite a few of the major journals and he made an album cover for Lady Gaga. I personally like his private project in which he has asked all kind of actors and directors to have their portrait taken during an imaginary police interrogation.
At this moment his pictures can be seen at gallery Noorderlicht in Groningen (NL). The exhibition can be seen till November 21.
