Getting Back Into the Dark Room: Part 6 - Loading 4x5 Sheet Film

One of the skills to acquire when working with sheet film is loading film in an efficient, and dust free manner. It does not sound too difficult to (1) create a dust free environment, (2) take the film sheet by sheet out of the package, and (3) load them into the holders with their emulsion side facing outwards. However, this whole process has to happen in total darkness and one is supposed not to touch or scratch the surface of the film. And when the process does not go as smoothly as you would hope, you will get clammy hands to make the job even harder. It is just a job to get used to. So, let's get some practice.
