Cheeky Sculptures By NÄNZI

The Berlin artist NÄNZI S. Reichert (1962) creates from ceramics and real hair realistic sculptures of rather cheeky women (and occasionally also of men). It is odd to see that these sculptures are both controversial as well as harmless. They question the idealistic images of women created by marketing campaigns by replacing them by realistic self-aware saucy women made out of ceramics. They make me smile.
