Maybe you noticed, maybe you didn’t, but my wife and I did spent the last month in Australia. We travelled with a small camper and without a clear plan from Sydney to Cairns. We learned a whole lot about Australia and the awesome coastal regions of "New South Wales" and "Queensland". The country as a whole is immense and has only 22 million people. There is an abundance of natural resources and its prosperity has not been significantly affected by the recent financial crisis. It is very well organized and the people are extremely friendly and caring. And from a tourist perspective: you are not the only one enjoying laid-back atmosphere and the wonders of the Australian nature with a camper.
